<p>Presenting the 2nd&nbsp; Jager Jiu Jitsu Gi &amp; No Gi Asian Open Championships&nbsp; by Jager International&nbsp; one of the largest organizers of competitions in Asia and BJJFP . &nbsp;We look forward to continuing&nbsp; building this relationship with the athletes of all&nbsp; countries in the region and beyond hosting more prestigious events in the Philippines.</p>



<p>In line with growing the sport at the grassroots level&nbsp; we have created separate children&#8217;s divisions and weight classes for under the age of 6 ,9, 12 to under 15 years.Teens 15-U17 and standard Juvenile / Adult / Masters divisions , Male up to Masters 5 Female Masters 3.</p>



<p>In addition to the standard IBJJF competition format we will have a Team event for Black or Brown Belts weight classes weio be decided on the day. The team with the most wins will be the Team Champions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This event is brought to you by BJJFP in cooperation with Jager, one of the largest organizers of competitions in Korea. In the spirit of cooperation,&nbsp;we wish to&nbsp;bring&nbsp;competitors together to create a larger competition circuit in the Asian region. &nbsp;We look forward to welcoming competitors and referees from Korea in this joint effort to make the best competitions in the region.</p>

<p>9 .<strong>Change room</strong> /<strong> Toilet </strong> :Situated behind the stage down the stairs  , wear your Gi or rash guard when in the mall do not walk around with out a shirt. Do not change in Public and always wear a shirt.</p>



<p>10. <strong>Discipline</strong> : Please Observe the commands given by the Guards and  the Event staff</p>



<p>11. <strong>Awarding</strong> : You must receive your medal on the Podium,  dressed in Competition attire.  You can not get your medal after the awarding ceremony. One person only to accompany the medalists on stage to receive their medals. No awarding can be made if there are more than one other person accompanying the medalist. This is for safety reasons.</p>



<p>12. <strong>Gi &amp; Rash Guard Checking </strong>: Your Gi will be checked prior to the match , pre check your Gi and Belt  that it matches the IBJJF requirements. You have one minute to change your Gi if it does not meet the specifications. Short sleeve Rash guards only they should be body fitting and contain not less than 10 % of your belt colour . Tops or shirts that are not body fitting are not allowed  you will be required to change.</p>



<p>13 .<strong> Ayala Mall</strong> : We are very grateful for the use of the Mall , Respect the Mall and its patrons , follow the instruction given by the Guards and Comp Officials , please keep your area clean and be courteous to others , no swearing or bad language is tolerated. <strong>PICK UP YOUR TRASH.</strong> We want to project a good image of ourselves and the sport.</p>

<p>Shorts, compression pants (skin-tight spats) and/or compression shorts colored black, white, black and white, and/or the color of the rank (belt) to which the athlete belongs. The shorts must not have pockets or have the pockets stitched completely shut, must not have buttons, zippers or any kind of plastic or metal that could present a risk to the opponent, and must be long enough to cover halfway down the thigh and no longer than the knee.</p>



<p><strong>SHIRTS AND RASH GUARDS:</strong></p>



<p>Both genders must wear a shirt of elastic material (skin tight) long enough to cover the torso all the way to the waistband of the shorts, colored black, white, or black and white, and with at least 10% of the rank color(belt) to which the athlete belongs. Shirts 100% the color of the athlete’s rank (belt) are also permitted.</p>



<p>Note: For black belts a small red area will be tolerated, but must not decharacterize the athlete’s rank color.</p>

<p>We are very pleased to announce that BJJFP will host the 2022 Novice Championships . This competition is dedicated to our valued  White belts who want to test their in an exclusive event  . We welcome this 1st major event after the Pandemic and look forward to seeing competitors back on the mats.<br><strong>Divisions</strong> : White belt  Male Adults , White belt Female Adults , White Belt Male Masters 1, White belt Male Masters 2. Judo Black Belts and experienced Wrestlers must compete as Blue Belts not in the Novice Competition .</p>



<p><strong>Weigh in</strong>: Be at the venue 1 hour before your match schedule see the schedule below . You will be called by name .                                                  </p>



<p><strong>Please Note</strong> :                                                 ~ &#8211; No food is allowed or sold  at the venue . Rooms 204 &amp; 205 have been allocated for us to use for refreshments and relaxation . <p><strong>Basic Rules </strong>: The following techniques are not allowed . No Foot locks of any kind , Wrist locks, Jumping to guard. Please visit www.ibjjf.com for the rules applicable to White belts. </p>



<p>1.<strong>Competitors</strong> : please leave the competition area after your match to avoid congestion in the area. BE AT THE EVENT AREA ONE HOUR BEFORE YOUR MATCH SCHEDULE.</p>



<p>2.<strong>Attire :</strong> Undergarments must be worn, Men no Tshirts rash guard allowed under the Gi , Ladies Rash guard is allowed no Sports Bra. Check your Gi for the correct position of the patches and the quality of your Belt it should not be frayed and reach the length as prescribed by IBJJF .</p>



<p>3. <strong>Not Allowed : </strong>Competitors are not allowed to wear groin cups.. Knee braces should not contain metal or plastic material. Gi &amp; No Gi no slippery creams or oils allowed on the body or hair. </p>



<p>4. <strong>Coaching :</strong> No Coaching within the Mat Area, except one Coach is allowed for Children&#8217;s  or Novice matches, or for hearing impaired athletes. Please sit at the table side chairs and leave the area after the match with the competitor.</p>



<p>5. <strong>Photographers </strong>/ Videographers please ask for a Media Badge , no one is allowed in the competition area without a badge.</p>



<p>6. <strong>Footwear</strong> : All competitors <strong>wear slippers</strong> , t<strong>hongs , flip flops , sandals or shoes </strong>around the Venue. <strong>Do not walk barefoot</strong> the dirt transfers to the mat.</p>



<p>7. <strong>Weigh in :</strong> If you do not make weight during the official weigh in you will be disqualified.</p>



<p>8. <strong>Absolute registration </strong>:register at the same time you register for your weight class. A penalty will apply if you register after you have registered for your weight class.</p>

<p>2. <strong>Proper Attire </strong>:Undergarments must be worn, Men no Tshirts rash guard allowed under the Gi , Ladies Rash guard is allowed no Sports Bra. Please check the Gi / No Gi clothing requirements above.</p>



<p>3. <strong>Accessories  </strong>: Competitors are not allowed to wear groin cups. Knee braces should not contain metal or plastic material. Slippery substances such as hair gel or massage oils are not allowed . </p>



<p>4. <strong>Coaching :</strong> No Coaching within the Mat Area, except one Coach is allowed for Children&#8217;s Novice matches, or for hearing impaired athletes. Please sit at the table side chair and leave the area after the match.</p>



<p>5. <strong>Photographers </strong>/ Videographers please ask for a Media Badge , no one is allowed in the competition area without a badge.</p>



<p>6. <strong>Footwear</strong> : All competitors <strong>wear slippers</strong> , t<strong>hongs , flip flops , sandals or shoes </strong>around the Venue. <strong>Do not walk barefoot.</strong></p>



<p>6. <strong>Weigh in :</strong> If you do not make weight during the official weigh in you can be disqualified. Be at the event area One hour prior to your match schedule.</p>

Jiu Jitsu Gi / No Gi Beach Games event held in the Philippines.Over the last few
year Jiu Jitsu has become part of the World Beach Games a Multi Sport event
held around the World.</p>



<p><strong>2020 &nbsp;South East Asian Gi &amp; No Gi Beach Games </strong></p>



<p>As part of this development BJJFP will hold a version of the same event Gi / No Gi at Mall of Asia , Sands by the Bay on March 29 , so that the local  community here can enjoys all aspects of BJJ competitions. Due to the Corona Virus in cooperation with the Mall the events is now Schedule for Sunday May 17.</p>



<p>This is an open event
for all teams and participants from the Philippines and other countries ,
standard BJJ rules will apply.</p>

<p>The 2023 Philippine Gi and No Gi Novice Championship is one  the longest running event in the region since open to all competitors in <strong>White Belts </strong>  only , <strong>including Kids ,Juniors and Masters M1 to M</strong>4 Male and Female   . </p>



<p><strong>VENUE  </strong>: <strong>Ayala Circuit Makati (Activity Center) </strong>  On behalf of the BJJ community we wish to thank Ayala Circuit Makati and the staff for their continued support of the sport of Jiu Jitsu. IBJJF Rules apply for both Gi and No Gi. </p>

In the subject write      <strong>&#8221; CORRECTIONS &#8220;</strong> include in the email <strong>NAME , WEIGHT , BELT / Division ,  TEAM </strong>, <strong>MALE OR FEMALE </strong> ,  the details to be corrected the competition ie Gi or No Gi  and the competition name . If there is an issue with your entry not showing on the competitor list please also include the payment details and the date paid if by paypal please include the email address  used. Always include your Team name thank you.</p>

<li><strong>WEIGH IN GI &amp; NO GI  before your 1ST Match </strong>if you do not make weight you will be disqualified but we allow you to compete in the Open weight if you have registered.<strong> </strong></li>

<p><strong>IMPORTANT INFORMATION :</strong> :After registration check the competitor link below that the entry is correct .Make sure your team name is included. <li>If you do not make weight you will be disqualified and ineligible to fight in your division and the open. </li>



<li> Juniors , Masters and Kids are required to show a copy of an ID showing their date of birth  (do not bring originals  and keep the document after it has been seen at the weigh in).</li>



<li>Kids belts are all classified in the registration as white belts there are no separate belt categories for children                                </li>



<li>Medals <strong>: </strong>Gold , Silver and two Bronze medals for all divisions </li>



<li>IBJJF Rules apply ; Straight foot locks are allowed for White belts.                                   </li>

<li><strong>VENUE</strong> <strong>DRESS CODE and RULES  </strong></li>



<li>Wear a T shirt  or rash guard at all times around the venue we are in a shopping center not the gym .</li>



<li>CHANGE ROOM : Male and Female are provided behind the stage </li>



<li>Use Footwear around the mat area to avoid brining dirt onto the Mats  </li>



<li>Please do not block the aisle ways and sit around shop frontages</li>

<p><strong>GI AND NO GI ATTIRE</strong>: inspection is made prior to the match to ensure competition clothing meets the standards set by IBJJF see the rules section for further information at ibjjf.com. Head dress cab be worn by female competitors.</p>



<ul>
<li><strong>Gi ATTIRE</strong> :  must be of uniform colour , of sufficient length ie the sleeves should be 5cm from  wrist when arms are extended forward,  the jacket must  reach the athletes thigh area , pants need to reach the ankles. Only female competitors can  wear a rash guard under the Gi. Undergarments must be worn , Gi must be clean and the belt and Gi in  good condition .</li>



<li><strong>Gi </strong> inspection will verify whether the following official measurements are met: GI lapel thickness (1.3 cm), width of GI collar (5 cm), opening of sleeve at full extension (7 cm).<a href="https://ibjjf.com/rails/active_storage/blobs/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsibWVzc2FnZSI6IkJBaHBBbEFDIiwiZXhwIjpudWxsLCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--25b8adb6cd84620358c8e899a588319810e8d745/belt-requirements.png">Click to zoom image</a>OTHER REQUIREMENTS</li>



<li><strong>PATCHES</strong> may only be affixed in authorized regions of the GI, as depicted in the IBJJF Rules Book. They should be of cotton fabric and properly seamed.</li>



<li><strong>NO GI RASH GUARDS  </strong>Both genders must wear a shirt of elastic material (skin tight) long enough to cover the torso all the way to the waistband of the shorts, colored black, white, or black and white, and with at least 10% of the rank color(belt) to which the athlete belongs. Shirts 100% the color of the athlete’s rank (belt) are also permitted.</li>



<li> <strong>NO GI SHORTS FOR MEN   : </strong>Board shorts colored black, white, black and white, and/or the color of the rank (belt) to which the athlete belongs, without pockets or with the pockets stitched completely shut, without buttons, exposed drawstrings, zippers or any form of plastic or metal that could present a risk to the opponent, long enough to cover at least halfway down the thigh, and no longer than the knee.</li>



<li>Also permitted are compression shorts made of elastic material (skin tight) worn beneath the shorts, in the colors black, white, black and white, and/or the color of the rank (belt) to which the athlete belongs</li>



<li><strong>NO GI SHORTS FOR WOMEN</strong> <strong>:  </strong>Shorts, compression pants (skin-tight spats) and/or compression shorts colored black, white, black and white, and/or the color of the rank (belt) to which the athlete belongs. The shorts must not have pockets or have the pockets stitched completely shut, must not have buttons, zippers or any kind of plastic or metal that could present a risk to the opponent, and must be long enough to cover halfway down the thigh and no longer than the knee.</li>



<li><strong>GI AND RASH GUARD CHECKING</strong> : Your Gi will be checked prior to the match , pre check your Gi and Belt  that it matches the IBJJF requirements. You have one minute to change your Gi if it does not meet the specifications. Short sleeve Rash guards only they should be body fitting and contain not less than 10 % of your belt colour . Tops or shirts that are not body fitting are not allowed  you will be required to change.</li>
</ul>



<p>   <strong> EVENT INFORMATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS</strong> </p>



<ol>
<li><strong>Competitors</strong> : please leave the competition area after your match to avoid congestion in the area. BE AT THE EVENT AREA ONE HOUR BEFORE YOUR MATCH SCHEDULE.</li>



<li><strong>Not Allowed : </strong>Competitors are not allowed to wear groin cups.. Knee braces should not contain metal or plastic material. Gi &amp; No Gi no slippery creams or oils allowed on the body or hair. </li>



<li><strong>Coaching :</strong> No Coaching within the Mat Area, except one Coach is allowed for Children&#8217;s  or Novice matches, or for hearing impaired athletes. Please sit at the table side chairs and leave the area after the match.</li>



<li><strong>Photographers </strong>/ Videographers please ask for a Media Badge , no one is allowed in the competition area without a badge.</li>



<li><strong>Change room</strong> /<strong> Toilet </strong> :Situated behind the stage down the stairs  , wear your Gi or rash guard when in the mall do not walk around with out a shirt. Do not change in Public and always wear a shirt.</li>



<li><strong>Discipline</strong> : Please Observe the commands given by the Guards and  the Event staff</li>



<li><strong>Awarding</strong> : You must receive your medal on the Podium,  dressed in Competition attire. Can not receive your medal after the awarding ceremony. Single medalist can pick up their medals as per announcer.</li>



<li><strong>Ayala Mall</strong> : We are very grateful for the use of the Mall , Respect the Mall and its patrons , follow the instructions given by the Guards and Comp Officials , please keep your area clean and be courteous to others , no swearing or bad language is tolerated. <strong>PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TRASH.</strong> We want to project a good image of ourselves and the sport.</li>



<li><strong>Eligibility :</strong> Black Belts Adult competitors  in Judo and National Team Wrestlers  &#8211; Register as Blue Belts in the Adult Divisions or if you Qualify as a Master register in the Purple belt division   Masters Division in both Gi and No Gi . </li>
