This year more divisions have been added both Male / Female Children’s division and Junior White and Blue belt divisions. Male / Female Masters up to M4.
2023 PAN ASIAN Gi & No Gi Kids Adults and Masters Jiu Jitsu International Open .
The 1st and largest Jiu Jitsu International Competition in Asia region since 2005 outside of the IBJJFP Asian Open . This year’s event will have all divisions up to Masters 4, male and Female Children and Junior divisions.

BRACKET CORRECTION DEADLINE : Midnight Tuesday July 11 , you can change your entry on Smoothcomp anytime up until this date . On Wednesday the brackets are finalized and printed.
· All Competitor must create their own Smoothcomp account using their email address including Team Entries that are making direct deposits. From this account they can see the brackets match schedule and edit or make changes to their entry. We can approve the registration is not paid online via Smoothcomp .

COMPETITOR INFORMATION:
- Kids registration; All kids are registered as white belts under their weight class , when creating a profile you can just enter white belt .
- All Competitors must be at the venue at least one hour prior to the match schedule. Masters , Juniors and children competitors please bring an ID with date or birth details.
- IBJJF Rules apply , weigh in before your match
- BELTS : Children are classified as white belts and must create a profile as a White belt .Divisions, all belt levels for Adults , Juvenile 2 Male and Female Division White and Blue , Masters 1 – 4 Male and Female all belts. Masters can register in an age group below their age but not above .
- Match progression and brackets will be on the TV near the mat entrance or you can check on Smoothcomp via your phone.
- Children’s Belts All kids are registered as white belts under their weight class , when creating a profile enter White belt . Male and Female divisions for Children available
- Adults all Belt levels , Juvenile White and Blue Male and Female ,, Masters Male and Female divisions M1 – M4.
- Eligibility : Amateur MMA Fighter can compete as White belts except in the Novice comp, Judo Black Belts National Team Wrestlers and Professional MMA Fighters must compete as Blue belts

EVENT INFORMATION and REGULATIONS IBJJF Rules apply
1.Competitors : please leave the competition area after your match to avoid congestion in the area. BE AT THE EVENT AREA ONE HOUR BEFORE YOUR MATCH SCHEDULE.
2.Attire : Undergarments must be worn, Men no Tshirts rash guard allowed under the Gi , Ladies Rash guard is allowed no Sports Bra. Check your Gi for the correct position of the patches and the quality of your Belt it should not be frayed and reach the length as prescribed by IBJJF .
3. Not Allowed : Competitors are not allowed to wear groin cups.. Knee braces should not contain metal or plastic material. Gi & No Gi no slippery creams or oils allowed on the body or hair.
4. Coaching : No Coaching within the Mat Area, except one Coach is allowed for Children’s or Novice matches, or for hearing impaired athletes. Please sit at the table side chairs and leave the area after the match.
5. Photographers / Videographers please ask for a Media Badge , no one is allowed in the competition area without a badge.
6. Footwear : All competitors wear slippers , thongs , flip flops , sandals or shoes around the Venue. Do not walk barefoot the dirt transfers to the mat.
7. Weigh in : If you do not make weight during the official weigh in you will be disqualified.
8. Absolute registration :register at the same time you register for your weight class. A penalty will apply if you register after you have registered for your weight class.
9 .Change room / Toilet :Situated behind the stage down the stairs , wear your Gi or rash guard when in the mall do not walk around with out a shirt. Do not change in Public and always wear a shirt.
10. Discipline : Please Observe the commands given by the Guards and the Event staff
11. Awarding : You must receive your medal on the Podium, dressed in Competition attire. You can not get your medal after the awarding ceremony. One person only to accompany the medalists on stage to receive their medals. No awarding can be made if there are more than one other person accompanying the medalist. This is for safety reasons.
12. Gi & Rash Guard Checking : Your Gi will be checked prior to the match , pre check your Gi and Belt that it matches the IBJJF requirements. You have one minute to change your Gi if it does not meet the specifications. Short sleeve Rash guards only they should be body fitting and contain not less than 10 % of your belt colour . Tops or shirts that are not body fitting are not allowed you will be required to change.
13 . Ayala Mall : We are very grateful for the use of the Mall , Respect the Mall and its patrons , follow the instruction given by the Guards and Comp Officials , please keep your area clean and be courteous to others , no swearing or bad language is tolerated. PICK UP YOUR TRASH. We want to project a good image of ourselves and the sport.
14. Eligibility : Black Belts Adult competitors in Judo and National Team Wrestlers – Register as Blue Belts in the Adult Divisions or if you Qualify as a Master register in the Purple belt division Masters Division in both Gi and No Gi

GI MATERIAL
GIs should be tailored using cotton or cotton-like fabric only. The fabric should not be so thick or hard as to impede an opponent from gripping it. For juvenile, adult, master and senior divisions, a GI fashioned from woven fabric is mandatory.
It is permitted to wear kimono with EVA or similar material inside the collar, if the measures of size and rigidity regulations provided in the IBJJF Rules Book are followed.GI COLOR AND PATCHES
GIs must be of uniform color.
The following colors are permissible: white, royal blue or black. Gis with tops and pants of different colors are not permitted; nor are GIs with a collar that is a different color than the rest of the top.
Painted GIs are forbidden, unless the paint is designed in the form of an academy or sponsor logo – and only on regions of the GI where patches are permitted.
Even in cases where they are permitted, the athlete will be obliged to change GIs should the paint mark the GI of the opponent.
Patches may only be affixed in authorized regions of the GI, as depicted in the IBJJF Rules Book. They should be of cotton fabric and properly seamed.
All patches unseamed or in unauthorized regions of the GI will be removed by the GI inspectors.Click to zoom imageBELT REQUIREMENTS
Athletes should use a durable, 4 to 5 cm wide belt colored according to the athlete’s rank, with a black tip – except for black belts, where the tip should be white or red. The belt should be worn over the top, wrap around the waist twice, and be tied using a double knot tight enough to hold the GI top closed. Once tied in a double knot, each end of the belt should hang 20 to 30 cm in length.GI MEASUREMENTS
The GI top should reach the athlete’s thigh and the sleeves should come to no more than 5 cm from the athlete’s wrist when the arm is extended straight parallel to the ground.
GI pants should reach no more than 5 cm above the tibial malleolus (ankle bone).
The inspection will verify whether the following official measurements are met: GI lapel thickness (1.3 cm), width of GI collar (5 cm), opening of sleeve at full extension (7 cm).Click to zoom imageOTHER REQUIREMENTS
Use of a shirt under the GI top is prohibited, except for women. In the female divisions, it is mandatory for the use of a stretchy or elastic shirt that hugs the body beneath the GI; It can be short or long sleeved, without the necessity to follow the color requirements. It is also permitted for athlete’s to use a one piece swim garment (bathing suit) or gymnastics top.
Wearing pants of any kind under GI pants is prohibited, except for women, who are permitted to use pants made of elastic fabric (clings to body) under the GI pants, as long as these pants are shorter than the GI pants.
Athletes must use undergarments. The use of thong-type undergarments is not permitted; only briefs-type undergarments.
GIs may not exhibit mending or tears, be wet or dirty or emanate unpleasant odors.

SHORTS FOR MEN:
Board shorts colored black, white, black and white, and/or the color of the rank (belt) to which the athlete belongs, without pockets or with the pockets stitched completely shut, without buttons, exposed drawstrings, zippers or any form of plastic or metal that could present a risk to the opponent, long enough to cover at least halfway down the thigh, and no longer than the knee.
Also permitted are compression shorts made of elastic material (skin tight) worn beneath the shorts, in the colors black, white, black and white, and/or the color of the rank (belt) to which the athlete belongs.SHORTS, COMPRESSION SHORTS AND PANTS FOR WOMEN:
Shorts, compression pants (skin-tight spats) and/or compression shorts colored black, white, black and white, and/or the color of the rank (belt) to which the athlete belongs. Both genders must wear a shirt of elastic material (skin tight) long enough to cover the torso all the way to the waistband of the shorts, colored black, white, or black and white, and with at least 10% of the rank color(belt) to which the athlete belongs.
